Inshore for lobsters

The Endeavour of Newbiggin fishing close in shore for lobsters, against a backdrop of the power station and coal washery at Lynemouth. Lobster pots among rocks close to the shore can do well for lobsters but they must be moved to deeper water before any bad weather or they will be smashed up by the swell, and they must not be so close to the beach that they risk becoming exposed at low tide or they are likely to be stolen.
