Prawn pots

Potting constitutes the majority of fishing now undertaken with cobles. Potting for prawns selectively catches the larger prawns, and they do not suffer the damage of being buffeted in a trawl. Prawn pots will equally well catch lobsters and crabs, depending on season and where fished.
